We will need one volunteer for each cabin. Being a cabin leader is a great way to hang out with students and help them grow in their faith. Don’t worry it’s easy and fun! Youthfront provides one paid staff person for each cabin who will lead the kids through the activities. Volunteers must be 18 years of age. Also there is some flexibility if you need to leave for an important meeting or take calls or work online (they do have wifi). Please consider taking time to come to camp with us. If you’re interested in more information or would like to sign up contact Deborah Comstock at email@example.com or 913-544-0251.
Each cabin has four rooms that hold four children on bunk beds (total of 16 kids per cabin). When you register you may list up to three friends your child would like to room with. If the four children don’t list each other as requested bunkmates than you risk us to determine how to place children into their cabins. So if at all possible get four kids together and everyone list each other please! In order for all campers to have the best experience we will not put more than two rooms of friends together in a cabin. If you need to make changes to your bunkmate requests you can do in the new campwise system. We will not start cabin placement until three or four weeks before camp so you have plenty of time to get it all figured out.
