Matthew's Ministry: Adult Bible Study Volunteers

Adult Bible Study Volunteers serve as teachers or classroom helpers during Bible study, which is offered during Sunday evening service (5 pm) and is attended by adults with special needs, 18 years and older. The adults start their evening by attending worship service to participate in the music provided by the Praise Band. Following the music, they attend Bible Study in a classroom, where they are taught using an adapted curriculum.

Spiritual gifts typically found in those serving in this role are Helps, Mercy and Encouragement.

Passions and skills that are especially helpful for serving in this role are people, special needs, helping, care giving, equipping, education and Christian community.
